In December, more than 250 community members met to discuss concerns and explore strategies surrounding eight key issues, including immigration policy, racial justice, women’s issues, LGBTQ equity, religious tolerance (addressing anti-Muslim concerns), environmental protection/climate change, hate crimes and school bullying.

After hearing brief explanations of these topics from a panel of speakers, each group discussed various methods for solving the most pressing issues in their topic.  Each group then created a list of strategies that could be carried forward in the community.

The mission for our January 17th meeting is to finalize these strategies and plan for further action toward implementing these goals.  Come join the Allies and help us work for a more inclusive community.

We look forward to seeing you there!
