From Randy: “Welcome to an experiment in documentary writing. I’ve been tending daily entries since January; intending to collect, edit and present them as a blog. Every week or so, you’ll find fiction and autobiographical reflections, poetry and prose, a handful of missives, a smorgasbord. Some multimedia and collaborative forms of expression are also emerging. Conversations with friends like Jack Ridl and others will certainly be included. I’m excited to see how the collage develops with hopes of offering “Entry” into: What it means to be Human, Where Art and Disability Converge, How Creativity can Lead Us to Peace, and so on.”
Compassionate Connection is a ministry directed by Randy Smit that functions under the auspices of Hope Church. It is a ministry of renewal offering pathways of practice to deeper empathy and creativity.
