Hello Hope Church! As some of you may know, I spent last summer as a counselor for 7th-9th graders at Camp Geneva. This was one of the most simultaneously draining and fulfilling experiences of my life—and the best news is, I get to go back this summer! Round two of spending a summer running around, making camper’s faces light up, and telling them how insanely loved they are?! What a beautiful gift.
I would like to thank you, the people of Hope Church, for investing in me from my childhood on and for being living examples of God’s love in the world. It is because of you that I am now able to be a role model in these middle-schoolers’ lives. This is all to say, God’s love is evident at Camp Geneva—in the sunshine, songs, talent show acts, shouts during Capture the Flag, laughter, counselor-camper conversations, Lake Michigan waves—and I highly encourage you to send your kids for a week this summer!
