Caring for Creation is planning one final group outing on Sunday, October 13. Come explore four parks/open areas near the Grand River: Riverside Park, Robinson Forest, Johnson Street Forest, and Connor Bayou. We hope to enjoy the beautiful colors of the fall leaves! Meet at Hope Church at 2 p.m. and dress for the weather and walking in the woods. Snacks will be provided.
Parks Challenge Wraps Up
The Caring for Creation Ministry hopes many of you enjoyed exploring Ottawa County Parks this summer. The Parks Challenge contest will continue through the month of October, so you still have time to check off a few parks. Park check-off sheets and bingo cards and stickers for the kids are available at the display on the windows near Commons I. Fall County Parks newsletters with a calendar of events are also available. There will be a box to turn in completed checklists and bingo cards on Sunday, November 3, and the winner will be announced on November 10.
