We hope you’ve marked your calendar for the Think Hope Silent Auction and Dinner! You can still buy tickets this Sunday. You can still contribute your gifts and talents for the auction. Do you knit? Paint? Organize closets? Have a fabulous home-cooked specialty? Any item that expresses your gifts and talents can be donated to the auction. Turn in your auction donation sheet this Sunday or contact the church office regarding your donation on Monday.
All proceeds this year will benefit the Center for Women in Transition, a local agency that provides shelter and support for victims of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and for women facing other difficult challenges. We know that tough economic times can increase the incidence of domestic violence, and we want to be sure that CWIT has the resources to answer the need.
