The community wide Kwanzaa celebration has been part of Holland’s history for 15 years. Since 2010 the African American community and their allies have gathered at the end of the year to honor ancestors, bless children and unearth the good gifts of their African ancestry. Pastor Gordon and Pastor Jill will both be involved in this celebration, along with other church partners of Maple Avenue Ministries. A sweet potato pie and coffee reception will be provided following the program.
