Date: May 23rd
Location: Frauenthal Center, Muskegon

Join LEDA for their annual Summit on Race and Inclusion. This year’s theme, Moving Toward Justice, describes the continued necessary commitment we have in seeing the work of diversity and inclusion accomplished in our neighborhood, in our state, and in our country.

The LEDA Summit on Race and Inclusion examines the effects of racial disparities, while offering strategies for their elimination. The day-long conference involves hundreds of participants from across the state of Michigan and even from across the country, including several locally and nationally recognized speakers.

2001 began the first year in what was expected to be a five-year Lakeshore Region Summit on Racism series. In 2006, due to the Summit’s success and high demand, it became an every other year event. Now, the Summit is a sold-out annual event.

This year, LEDA is excited to hold the Summit in Muskegon for the first time, and they look forward to working with their hosts at the beautiful Frauenthal Center to make a great event for everyone.
