In the June/July newsletter, Andrew mentioned that Washington School Neighbors was seeking another Neighborhood Connector. Janelle Lopez-Koolhaas came on in that role in late June. Janelle is an ordained RCA minister, 2001 graduate of Western Theological Seminary (WTS), and has served congregations and communities in Vancouver, BC and Holland, MI; and was a Bible teacher in Chiapas, Mexico. Janelle looks forward to increasing the contacts and relationships with the Spanish-speaking population in the neighborhood. Janelle is married to Angel Lopez, a 2014 grad of WTS, and they have two daughters. If you see them in the office or around the church, please say “hello!”
