Denise and Keith Krebs

Keith and Denise Krebs are new RCA missionaries Hope Church is supporting in Bahrain. Please keep them in your prayers.

Dear Friends,

Denise and I are feeling so humbled and blessed as we settle into our life here in Bahrain.  Denise has taken a position as a Kindergarten teacher at Al Raja School and I am thoroughly enjoying being the chaplain at the American Mission Hospital and assistant pastor at the English Language Congregation.

My dual roles as Chaplain and assistant pastor fit me so well here in Bahrain.  I offer mercy and encouragement to hospital staff and patients.  The other morning in the Operating Theater (Operating Room) I was standing with 5 others and I realized we were from five different nations: Cameroon in Africa, India, Pakistan, Bahrain, and the US. All brothers in Christ working together.  It is awesome!

The church is also amazing.  I met people from 14 different nations my first 4 days here (Katie, my daughter and I kept count).  We are every tribe and nation gathered before the throne.  Last week at youth group, three new Bahraini youth attended and we had a great conversation together.

Please keep us in your prayers.

With Warm Regards,

Keith Krebs

Keith & Denise’s Prayer Requests

  • For health and grace as we get used to living in Bahrain.
  • That God will empower us with the Holy Spirit as we carry out our various ministry functions.
  • That Keith would powerfully teach and preach the Word in chapel devotions, small groups, as well as occasional preaching.
  • For cultural sensitivity as we learn to embrace the people of many cultures here in Bahrain.
