Presentation on Pastoral Care in the Living Web for At-Risk Children in Ethiopia

On Sunday, June 28th at 11:30 AM in the sanctuary (after Pizza Sunday), we will have the opportunity to hear from Rode Molla. Rode and her husband pastor Endrias Assen are from the Ethiopian Evangelical church Mekane Yesus (EECMY). Rode and Endrias have been coming to Hope Church this academic year. They have enjoyed Hope Church’s preaching service. They are very thankful for the welcoming approach of the pastors and the church community. Now, Rode is a Master of Theology student at Western Theological Seminary. In her study at WTS, she is writing about “Pastoral Care in the Living Web for At-Risk Children in Ethiopia”. In the future, Rode and her husband pastor Endrias have a plan to serve God together. Particularly, Rode has a plan to continue her PhD to research and write about practical and pastoral theology in the Ethiopian and African context. Moreover, they have a plan to establish a holistic caring system for children in their country Ethiopia. They would like to invite Hope Church to be their partner in their vision and mission for their plan for further study and to serve children in their country Ethiopia.
