The Community Ministry has purchased Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares from Eighth Day Farm and Groundswell Farm, which means locally grown produce is being delivered to Community Action House for distribution through their pantry and Community Kitchen. These fresh fruits and vegetables supplement the usual nonperishable fare available to those in need in our community. You can support this sharing of the harvest with a donation of $10…or more!
You can donate online or in person in the Gathering area any Sunday throughout August. As donations are given, the produce grid pictured above will be filled in to represent our progress towards providing a bountiful harvest for those in need in our community.
