washington school neighborsGreetings Hope Church! As you know, March was a month of transitions, hopes, and new starts. For Washington School Neighbors, it is the month where the Community Connectors you’ve known for the past year, Shannon and Catie, passed the baton to Andrew and Kallie for the upcoming year. We are grateful for the groundwork they have laid, and happy to be living in and working with this neighborhood.

So far we have spent most of our time training with Judy at Good Samaritan Ministries, settling into our office here at Hope Church, and making acquaintances. We will continue to work with the two neighbors mentioned in the March newsletter update, and we welcome neighborly interest and support for each of these projects. If you are feeling a tug to get involved on any level, or are curious to learn more about Neighborhood Connections, please come find us at our Hope Church office (just off the youth room on 11th Street) or connect with us directly using the contact information below.

Current Projects:
Website design, outdoor sign for office, team building, neighbor familiarity, city survey work, city liaison for neighbors, general Washington School Neighborhood participation.

This Month’s Challenge:
Decide you will walk at least once a week for a season in this neighborhood where Hope Church is located. As you walk, open yourself to all kinds of neighbor interactions.

Your Neighbors,

Andrew and Kallie Spidahl
