County Parks Challenge
The Challenge: to see who can visit the most Ottawa County parks this year!
How to participate: See the table in the gathering area for details of the Challenge, a parks map and brochure, a check list (Parks Bingo sheet and stickers for children), and a flier with suggested outings through the end of May.
We encourage everyone to spend more time outdoors by visiting our wonderful county parks. Prizes will be awarded at year end for the adult and child winners of the challenge.
Also on Sunday, April 21, join the Boogaarts as we visit Spring Grove Park to check for wildflowers. To carpool, meet at the “Park & Ride” (Bus. 196 & 112th Ave. across the road from Walgreens) at 2 pm, or meet at the park about 2:30 pm.
Save the date: Our annual Wildflower Walk, led by a parks staff person, will take place on May 5 at Tunnel Park.
