Join us on April 21 at 5 p.m. for a delicious chicken dinner and the opportunity to bid on fabulous items representing the talents and interests of the people of Hope Church. Our entertainment will be a reprise of the engaging (sometimes hilarious) square dancing we last did in 2016! Proceeds from the silent auction will support Comprenew, a local nonprofit that keeps hazardous e-waste out of landfills, and has supported our battery recycling (and other environmental efforts) for years. In addition to their technology recycling, Comprenew provides training in and access to technology for underserved members of our community.

Tickets will be on sale for $12 per person in the Gathering Area the first three Sundays of April (or stop in at the church office).

Want to donate an item for the silent auction? We’re especially looking for items that speak to who you are: something you can build, knit, sew; arts or crafts; services; sailing, fishing, or touring events; food items or meals made to order…. Let your imagination go! Items can be delivered to Hope Church on April 8 through April 15; perishable items can be delivered the day of the event. In either case, be sure to complete a Silent Auction Donation form by April 15 so the organizers can include your item in the auction planning.

The food is good, supporting a good cause is meaningful, and the square-dancing is fun; many past participants, though, have talked about the fellowship as the best gift of all from the evening. Join us if you can!
