If you are looking for ways to be the hands and feet of Christ to “the least among us,” then check out the Just Faith program. Just Faith has been offered at nearby St. Francis Catholic Church for eight years and has graduated 101 parishioners.
This year, the ecumenical version of the program is being co-facilitated by Jeannette Brownson of New Community/4th, and Aimee VandenElzen, a member of St. Francis. Several churches in Holland are being invited to participate, among them New Community/4th, Third Reformed, Maple Avenue Ministries, Hope Church, and First United Methodist. Our hope and prayer is that this will be unique and rewarding opportunity for the body of Christ to come together in partnership to reach our neighborhood in tangible ways with Christ’s love. The program begins on September 16 and meets Thursday evenings through April, with additional retreats and immersion experiences.
