Let’s put our bodies, minds, and spirits into action by participating in the Affordable Housing Awareness Walk! Our neighbors at First United Methodist Church have developed this experience in collaboration with Hope Church. All are encouraged to use this opportunity to learn and reflect toward advocacy for affordable housing in our community as an expression of our faith. You can participate by using the Housing Walk website as a guide for your walk/drive or through a virtual tour from the comfort of your own device – whatever suits you best. If you would like to participate by walking/driving, just follow the steps through the website by clicking here, and you also use that website for the virtual tour. If you complete the experience virtually, please contact Pastor Gordon gwiersma@hopechurchrca.org so we can add a ribbon to our prayer wreath which is placed. The website is live now, and we ask people to participate now through October 1. Your feedback and ideas are always welcomed.
