Ministry of Prayer for the week of October 25, 2026

“In everything by prayer and supplication let your requests be made known to God” ~ Philippians 4:6

Prayer Concerns: Please join the PrayerLink or Church Wide newsletters to see this week’s requests

Prayers for People of Faith: Pray for the Church of St. Lawrence, of the Diocese of Barbados, in St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, Barbados. This is a small Anglican congregation who worship in a historic coral stone church most likely built in the 19th century. This congregation can be a strong witness to the surrounding area and could use our prayers that their vitality and faith continue in their challenging neighborhood.

Prayers for Peace and Justice: Pray for the Society of St. Andrew. This national group brings people together to harvest & share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. They accomplish this through three operating programs: the Potato Project, the Gleaning Network, and Harvest of Hope.

Monthly Community Partner Focus: Latin American’s United for Progress – LAUP
LAUP’s mission is to empower Latinos to create a better community for all through advocacy, celebration, and education. As we work to achieve our mission, we rely on the teamwork and collaboration of our employees, volunteers, and community partners. We encourage and welcome people from every nation, race/ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual identity, age, disability status or any other dimension of diversity to partner with us to achieve this goal.

The Prayer Chapel is available each Sunday morning for meditation and prayer. The Prayer Chapel is located through the door at the east front of the sanctuary. This space of prayer and reflection is provided for all to be blessed by the Spirit’s gifts and grace. Prayer requests may be left for the Pastors in the box provided in the Prayer Chapel.

Wednesday Morning Prayers: All are welcome to join for morning prayer on Wednesdays at 8:30 am via Zoom. This contemplative time of prayer will include space to offer aloud your own prayers for the coming day and for the life of the world.
