The Institute for Healing Racism is an 8-week (Tuesday, February 15, through Tuesday, April 5, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.) dialog on multicultural understanding, sponsored by Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance and facilitated by Sarah Salguera and Zahabia Ahmed-Usmani. In a multicultural setting, participants learn, share, and process through facilitated dialogues, activities, videos, and discussions on the history and pathology of racism, institutionalized racism, contemporary bias, and ways to combat racism. $100; scholarships available.
