Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity has extended an invitation for women to gather a group of friends, co-workers, or family members to swing hammers and get involved in the housing needs of our community. This international Habitat for Humanity program will occur May 7 through May 12. No construction experience is necessary; you can learn on the job. Morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities are available, and lunch is provided.
Volunteers can sign up individually or on behalf of a group of 5 to 15 women; a Hope Church group only needs a woman to take the lead in organizing it! Deadline for signing up is April 20. Contact Lindsay TerHaar at Lakeshore Habitat to reserve a spot or ask questions.
