Life is the path that we walk. For most, that path is heavily influenced by where it begins. During the Season of Reconciliation coming up in January, the Reconciliation Ministry invites all readers to explore two distinct origins to see where they converge and where they split. This year there will be two books discussed over the course of three weeks. We are inviting the congregation to read the two books in advance, so we are making the books available now. It’s a tall order, but there will be food!
– The two books are: Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates & Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance
– The dates/times are: Thursday evenings Jan. 19, Jan. 26, and Feb. 2 from 5:45-7:30 pm with a light supper.
The books will be available for purchase starting in November in the Gathering Area. You will be able to sign up for the group in January.
