During the Advent season, adult education sessions at 9:40 a.m. center on Advent and Epiphany in the Arts. These sessions are scheduled:
- December 2: Francis Fike, retired Hope College professor of English, presents Advent in Poetry
- December 9: Carol Bechtel, Western Theological Seminary professor of Old Testament, presents Advent in Music
- December 16: Linda Graham, Hope College professor of dance, presents Advent themes in dance
- January 6: Rachelle Oppenhuizen, artist and spiritual director, presents Epiphany in the fine arts
