Monday, August 2, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., the 19th annual National Night Out party will be “Celebrating Neighborhood Spirit.” Sponsored by the City of Holland and many local organizations and businesses, the event will include games, a pie-eating contest, bingo, dunk tank, car show, water rescue demonstration, and hot dogs for first 2,000 people. Also included will be recognition of best block party, most improved block, business of the year, volunteer of the year, and good neighbor of the year.
