Please see the thank you and update below from Community Action House about their new upcoming Food Club, which Hope Church has supported financially. Be sure to check out the list of ways that you can help!

Thank you again for your generous support of the upcoming Food Club and Opportunity Hub! We’re thrilled to finally enter the public phase of our campaign and share this exciting news with the entire community.

With your help, we have already raised over 88% of our $4.25 million campaign goal and with construction underway are now eagerly awaiting the fall opening day when we can expand healthy food access to all of our neighbors.

You have supported this project in such a generous way, and we’re writing today to ask for your help to successfully complete this campaign. One of our generous donors has offered a matching gift of $150,000 and we need your help to get the word out. Here are a few ways you can help:

  1. Visit the campaign website to see the latest updates on our campaign and construction and consider sharing updates with your network.
  2. Share videos, posts and any media coverage on your social media pages or email the news to your friends (follow us on FacebookInstagramLinkedIn, and Twitter) Your endorsements and shares go a long way with social media algorithms!
  3. Invite your friends to help us meet our financial goal and take advantage of the matching gift to double their donation before June 30. If you know folks interested in learning even more first, we’re hosting monthly information sessions – invite them to register here (next one next Monday, May 10th at noon!). And I certainly welcome any direct introductions you’re willing to make to me, and I’d be glad to follow up to schedule one-on-one time with anyone you think may be interested in learning more.

Thank you again for your support and encouragement in this project. We’re so grateful to have our community in our corner as we provide our neighbors with the tools and resources they need to succeed and thrive.

With deepest thanks,

Scott Rumpsa, Executive Director, Community Action House
