In the olden days (everybody has them! just with different dates) members of Hope Church could clip articles from the newspaper and bring them into the office. They’d be posted on bulletin boards or referenced in newsletter articles, so that members of the Hope Church community could stay informed about each others’ lives and accomplishments.

That still happens from time to time, and we’re grateful when it does! At the same time, we recognize that fewer and fewer people get newspapers in print (although our Unifying Hope team encourages subscriptions to the Holland Sentinel, whether digital or delivered). The same is true for journals and magazines, many of which have migrated to or started on digital platforms.

We still want to do what we can to keep us in touch with each other! Anyone active online can submit links to the Communications Committee, which can channel them to our display boards, social media, or longer pieces in Salt & Light. Just follow this link to a form that will collect the relevant information–and bookmark the form so you can keep sharing the news!

Submission formIn addition to links to announcements or articles you find online, you can also use the form to submit a photo of a Hope Church or otherwise relevant event. You can share links to articles you’ve found of interest, too, whether about community partners, themes we’re exploring together, or devotional practices.

Help us to know each other and to keep our connections strong!
