Thursday, December 29; 6:30 p.m. The community wide Kwanzaa celebration has been part of Holland’s history for 15 years. Since 2010 the African American community & their allies have gathered at the end of the year to honor ancestors, bless children and unearth the good gifts of their African ancestry. Hope Church members will once again present one of the principles of Kwanzaa along with other church partners. A donation of $10 is requested to fund the Black Student scholarship. The community is invited to attend this event at Maple Avenue Ministries, 427 Maple Ave.
