Isn’t it wonderful being personally and genuinely greeted and welcomed as you enter the church parking lot entrance every Sunday for worship? As believers in Christ’s teaching to love, greet, and welcome one another, we take his teachings seriously. The Outreach and Hospitality Ministry would like to extend an open invitation to all Hope Church members and friends to sign up (on a week-to-week basis only) to volunteer as a greeter. This is a great opportunity to become more involved in our church without having the following concerns or commitments:
- serving on a committee
- attending monthly meetings
- finding others to help you
- counting money
- worrying about tripping, dropping, or spilling anything on others
- praying in front of a large group
- making numerous phone calls
The benefits are countless and we all like to be greeted by our Hope Church family members and friends. Being a “greeter” also opens the door to meeting visitors and helps to put a name with a face. Please consider signing up for a Sunday or two (more if you’re inclined to do so). There is a sign up sheet at the Welcome Center, at the Life of Hope bulletin board, or you may contact Laurie Braaksma in the church church office for additional information.
