These new members were welcomed into the fellowship of Hope Church on November 15 during the 11 a.m. worship service. Liz Talsma and Terry DeYoung have also joined Hope Church and will be publicly welcomed in worship in the spring. Please take the time to welcome these individuals into the family of Hope Church.
Karen Anderson Van Doorne joins by reaffirmation of faith. Karen raised her family at Christ Community Church years ago and has been looking for a church home ever since. She is an audiologist in private practice with both her son, Craig and daughter in law, Sarah. She has two children, Ethan (Grand Rapids) and Craig (Holland) and 4 grandchildren, Sophie, Emerson, Cora and Anderson. Hobbies include skiing, sailing, anything having to do with a beach, hiking and she loves working with those with hearing loss. Her mother, Marguerite Anderson attended Hope. She is sponsored by Mark Sneller.
John Doyle and Marian Luttikhuizen join by reaffirmation of faith. They are happy to be joining Hope Church together. John works as an order analyst at Herman Miller Inc. He has three children. Marian has retired from teaching and has two children and three grandchildren. John and Marian enjoy the opera, plays, travel, and old movies. They are sponsored by Henry and Shari Luttikhuizen.
Kate Mears joins by reaffirmation of faith. She lives in Grandville. She has worked in a warehouse for the past 9 years. Kate enjoys working with graphics on her computer, reading, and holding on to a passion for Doctor Who. She is sponsored by Loretta Smith.
Nate Martin joins by profession of faith. Angie Martin joins by reaffirmation of faith. They live in Holland with their cat, Henry. Nate is a Software Developer at Lean Logistics and Angie is a Proposal Manager at Herman Miller. Angie’s parents, Steve and Sue Griffore, also attend Hope Church.
