Juneteenth Festival, Saturday, June 19, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Kollen Park: Juneteenth is a holiday that commemorates the day in 1865 when the enslaved people of Texas finally learned that slavery had been abolished and that they were free. I AM Academy is excited to bring the Juneteenth Freedom Festival to the community of Holland for a time of learning and celebrating black culture and history and connecting with each other.
