Calling all current and former volunteers with Kids Hope USA!
This spring marks the end of the 25th year of mentoring for Kids Hope USA. Starting with three area churches back in 1995, there are now about 1,200 Kids Hope USA programs in 39 states serving about 10,000 children! Since 2003, Hope Church has served students in one of our neighborhood schools, Vanderbilt Charter Academy. Hope Church has had 4 amazingly committed directors including Judy VanderWilt, Barb Joldersma, Anne Duinkerken and now Vicki Rumpsa. Thanks to all the volunteer mentors and prayer partners that have loved and prayed for this amazing ministry. Hope Church congregant, Karen Pearson is the current president of Kids Hope USA.
Kids Hope USA is hosting an online birthday party to celebrate the 25th anniversary on Tuesday, May 25th at 1pm EST. The event is free and will last about 45 minutes. There will be stories, a look back at God’s faithfulness and blessing through Kids Hope USA during the first 25 years and a look ahead to the importance of mentoring in the years ahead.
