At its September meeting, the RCA Holland Classis approved our plan for financing our facility renovation project through construction, as pledges are received. That approval was the last requirement to be fulfilled to assure that resources are in place as construction begins. Our financing is through the RCA Growth Fund, which uses income for benevolence, extending the influence of Living Hope.
The Design Team is grateful that arrangements are complete, because much Design and Development progress has been made, detailing intentions and visions so that actual construction documents can be produced. The architect and engineering team has been crawling around in attics and basements to confirm or flesh out the representations of our building on historic drawings. Some adjustments have been required as structural complications have been uncovered, but the overall intent of the design phase is still intact.
There are many steps to be completed, including approval of a site plan and from the Historic District, but the Design Team plans to share their completed work on November 15 and 22 in the Gathering Area. Plan to stop by!
