Starting this September, Hope Church will follow the lead of many other churches by implementing an assignment system for recruiting greeters. A list of families will be generated alphabetically to determine the schedule with each family receiving one assignment per year. The names of greeters for each Sunday will be published in the newsletter on a quarterly basis and the list will also be posted on a “Greeter Schedule” poster in the gathering area.

Someone from the Outreach and Hospitality Ministry will contact you one month in advance to confirm your assignment. Additionally, the office will continue to mail reminders and instructions based on the confirmation given by ministry members.

If you are unable to greet on your assigned Sunday, you are invited to either switch with someone or find your own substitute. You can communicate this change by marking the change on the “Greeter Schedule” poster in the gathering area, or by calling the church office.
