The Lakeshore Women for Peace and several other local organizations will host a Peace Event: Peace Poetry at the Peace Pole on Sunday, July 25. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck supper at the Smallenberg Park (Fairbanks Avenue north of 16thStreet) pavilion; Music, singing, and poetry reading at the peace pole will follow at 7 p.m.
