Personal Pharmaceutical Collection – Saturday, Sept. 24

Holland Board of Public Works and the Ottawa County Health Department are co-sponsoring a Personal Pharmaceutical Collection on Saturday, September 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Health Department Building at 12251 James St, Holland MI 49424. Commonly collected products are prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, medicated ointments and lotions, inhalers, and veterinary medications. If you have out-of-date or unused medications, don’t flush them down the toilet! This creates environmental concerns for septic systems, and wastewater treatment plants. Please use this more appropriate method of safely disposing of unwanted medications by dropping them off on Saturday, September 24.
