YOU’RE TIRED — YOU’RE HUNGRY — YOU WANT ACTION!

Housing has become a burden the poorest and most marginalized members of our community are carrying. People are tired of not having enough to make it. They are tired of being one emergency away of loosing everything despite going to work every day.

YOU’RE TIRED OF BEING BROKE!
Can’t save money because of the high cost of housing the Holland area? Do a better credit score and home ownership feel like fairy tales?

Hungry for change?
Are you ready to speak up?

The Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony is planning the Right to Housing Rally. This event will take place at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 (we do not have confirmation for the location, it will be in the city of Holland).

NO ONE CAN LIVE IN HARMONY WHEN THE ROOF OVER THEIR HEAD IS A BURDEN.

The ACEH believes this issue needs to stay in front of our Civic Leaders.

CIVIC LEADERS NEED TO UNDERSTAND HOUSING IN HOLLAND IS HURTING PEOPLE!

The Right to Housing Rally will include:
–An update from the ACEH on what is happening in the area regarding housing;
–A speaker who can update attendees about what is happening at the state level to address housing;
–An open mic! Give voice to your struggles!

TELL US! TELL EVERYONE! -We know you’re hurting. Tell us.

CALL TO ACTION – THE HOLLAND TENT-IN!
Part of this rally will be a call to action to those who own tents to erect those tents in their yard or in the yard of a participating church or business in Holland. Those locations will be named as they become available. Yard signs will also be available (for a small fee) to make sure it is clear this concerted effort around the city will not go unnoticed.

This rally is shaping up to become a citywide act in solidarity!

Plan to join us. Plan to rally. Get that tent out of storage.

***Location may change. We are waiting approval for the use of Centennial park.
