An Invitation from ROOM FOR ALL
from David VanHeest, Hope Church member & RfA Board Member

Room for All board members from West Michigan have long talked about getting the groups from Grand Rapids, Holland and Muskegon areas together in one place to get to know each other, share stories, discuss strategies for growing the body of inclusivity within the Reformed Church in America and give each other support. The General Synod action on R-56 amplifies the need for us to get together.
We have a plan!

WHEN : Sunday, August 12 from 6-8 pm
WHERE: Jan Koopman’s home, 1602 Mackinaw Rd. SE, Grand Rapids (Google or Mapquest it). It is on the border of East Grand Rapids and Ottawa Hills.
WHAT: A time of sharing and mutual support, a discussion of the history, process and implications of R – 56, reflections on General Synod 2012 in general, and input for Room for All’s plans for the future. Rev. Miriam Bush will facilitate a meditative opening.
FOOD: Desserts and beverages will be provided. If you feel led, please to bring something to share.
RSVP: Please RSVP to David Van Heest david.heest@att.net or 616-394-9107 by August 5 so that we can be prepared with sufficient food, beverages and seating.
The more the merrier and we are hoping for a large show of support for Room for All and its objectives in these interesting times in the Reformed Church in America.

Please feel free to check out the Room for All website  www.roomforall.org  to learn the latest news and resources. Thanks so much for your support and interest and we look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on August 12th!
