Haiti Mission Trip in the Spring: We will be working at the Hope House Orphanage and the Les Bours School of Hope in Port-au-Prince. We have been asked to bring certain materials to help sustain the work of Mallery and Frentz Neptune, who founded the Haiti Foundation Against Poverty. Financial help is needed to buy some of the list items that can be purchased in bulk. There is an account set up in the church office to receive these funds. The list of items needed is as follows:
Top Priority – canned pasta type items, cookie mixes, diapers (size 2 and 3), baby wipes, infant formula, envelopes with self adhesive seals, Rubbermaid bins, plastic drawer organizers, ant spray, tarps, 12×12 scrapbook paper, colored card stock, decorative stickers/buttons/rub-ons, Mod Podge sealer, hard cover composition journals.
Other items: fruit snacks, chocolate chips, honey, cake/brownie mixes, ketchup, spaghetti sauce, dry pasta, barbeque sauce, jelly, quick oats, vegetable oil, olive oil, baby powder, baby shampoo, tents, antibacterial soap, mosquito coils or oil, mouse traps/glue pads, napkins, tote bags (grocery green bags welcome), large trash bags, white card stock, ribbon, paper cutters, scissors.
