After a request for a suggestion on a daily devotional, Pastor Jill reached out to Jane Schuyler, whose career as a Christian educator, denominational staff member curating and sharing resources for the church, and annual attendance even in retirement at the Association of Partners in Christian Education (APCE) prepared her to respond!
We’re sharing this initial list, which the pastors will continue to add to; any of you are invited to nominate resources you’ve found valuable, as well! (Just use the contact form to send your suggestions, with a brief description as shown here.)

Jill says, “Human beings are beautifully diverse creatures. Some of us lean in different ways when it comes to our love for God. Some love God with our minds, and we want deep, thick theology that we read for hours and then set aside for days or even weeks. Some love God with our minds through short daily moments of reflection centered in scripture and a short thoughtful probing question to mull over through the day. Some of us love God with our bodies through our action and we don’t sit to read at all. We listen to podcasts on our run and get to work on the thing God is setting on our heart to do. Others of us lean toward the loving of God with our hearts and we do deep soulful work in our devotional life with journals in hand and tissues nearby. Or we take our reading of scripture into the art studio or the hiking trail…. I could go on and on. Let’s share some of this good stuff with each other and see what we can pull together!”
