This year the Thanksgiving offering will be given to the Kids’ Food Basket. Their goal is to ensure that lunch is not the last meal of the day for local children. At the present time 600 sack suppers are given out each weekday to children at 2 local schools, but there are 6 more schools on the waiting list to have these sack suppers. A $1 donation equals one sack supper. Kids’ Food Basket is also looking for volunteers to help prepare, pack and deliver the food.
