This Sunday is the last opportunity to pick up an envelope if you’d like to walk in the CROP Hunger Walk on April 16 & 17th. But if you’re not able to walk yourself, you can still support this effort to address hunger around the world and in our community.

You can donate to walkers from our church by going to www.cropwalkonline.org. Click on “Michigan” and then choose the Holland/Zeeland walk. Then you will find Hope Church and you can donate to one of our walkers using your credit card. You can also make a donation or sponsor a walker in the Gathering Area at church tomorrow, before and after the 11 a.m. worship service.

You can also donate nonperishable food at the CROP Walk; it will be passed along to local agencies, whose supplies often run low over the summer months. Donations of food have the added benefit of helping Holland/Zeeland qualify for an additional grant from the Feinstein Foundation.

Twenty-five percent of the money raised stays local and goes to the following agencies: Buen Pastor Migrant Day Care, Christian Neighbors, Community Action House, Evergreen Commons Adult Meal Program, His Harvest Stand, Holland Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army. Seventy-five percent of the money goes to the rest of the world for ongoing Church World Service projects that assist devolpment and relieve hunger.

Use the “contact” form on this website if you have any questions or need to make alternate arrangements to sign up to walk or sponsor a walker!
