Partners in Reconciliation –This series highlights Community Partners to the Hope Church community. These presentations will include an overview of current, stories of impact and reconciliation, reflection on challenges and opportunities, along with space for questions and discussion.

  • Hope/Western Prison Education Program
    This program is a cooperative initiative that provides a Christian liberal arts curriculum to incarcerated men at the Muskegon Correctional Facility. This project began as a pilot effort in 2019 and has now grown into a fully accredited degree granting program. The partnership involves numerous staff, faculty, and students from both institutions and is assisted by a volunteer consultative/advisory group, the Circle of Advisors, whose mission is to offer a challenging academic environment while also focusing on moral rehabilitation and spiritual formation. Our presenter is Dr. David L. Stubbs, Professor of Ethics and Theology at WTS and Co-Director of the Hope-Western Prison Education Program. (View Livestream)

11:15 a.m. Children in Worship

Children age 3 through grade 5 are dismissed from the service. 

12:00 p.m. Annual Congregation Meeting & Meal

The meeting will be in the Commons with lunch from Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant will be served. There will be a complete financial report on 2024 along with discussion and vote on the final 2025 budget. The Stewardship & Finance Ministry thanks you for your faithful support of the ministry of Hope Church.
