9:40 a.m. – Adult Education

May 11 – Reflecting on John H. Timmerman’s Essay “The Back Yard”
Hope Church member Judy Parr will introduce and read an essay by Calvin University’s noted long-time Professor of English Emeritus and author of 26 books. She will then suggest several ways to reflect on this recent Reformed Journal blog entry and encourage class members to respond with questions, comments, and stories of experiences evoked by the essay. Adult Education opportunities are intended for spiritual formation through biblical study and critical examination of cultural, social, and moral issues from a Christian perspective. 10:00 a.m. – Chancel Choir rehearsal – Sanctuary

11:00 a.m. Worship in the Sanctuary

  • Listen to the Hope Church worship service WHTC radio broadcast at 11 a.m. In the summer, when worship is at 10 a.m., WHTC plays the recorded service at 11 a.m.
