The Tree of Light (Christmas collection of gift cards for church families, and for local families distributed through Community Action House & Good Samaritan Ministries) and White Gifts (Epiphany collection of personal care items for Resilience) are Hope Church traditions that will be carried out differently this season. These are usually interactive programs, but instead this year we need to simply ask for your donations to the Deacons’ Fund. Hope Church is providing a total of $1000 for the Tree of Light (which is similar to the gift card goal the last several years) and a total of $500 to Resilience for purchase of personal items. Please make your donation to ‘Hope Church Deacons’ Fund’ either by mailing in a check with the memo for the “Deacons’ Fund-Tree of Light/White Gifts” or using the website Donate link and putting ‘Deacons’ Fund-Tree of Light/White Gifts’ in the memo box.
