What is People 1st of the Lakeshore?
It is the Ottawa and Allegan County Chapter of individuals with developmental disabilities. People 1st was started in Oregon in 1974. Members want to speak for themselves and let people know who they are and what they have to offer. Their motto is that they are people first and their disabilities come second.
