I attended this workshop at APCE (Association of Presbyterian Church Educators) last winter. It had such good ideas and information that I felt I needed to take it a second time. It was about children and their fears and how to use the fears in Bible Stories (like the fear of ridicule in the Noah story as he built an ark on dry land), along with relevant books, and crafts to help a child process their fear/fears.
Upon my return to Hope Church I shared the above details and said how great it would be if this presenter could share her workshop in Holland. Since APCE is in Chicago in January 2016, perhaps she would be willing to come early and do a presentation? With her consent, Hope Church began partnering with Western Seminary’s continuing education program, JOURNEY, to promote this program.
Hope you will plan to attend!
