At the first Creation Care outing of the 2025 season on Sunday, May 4, we will walk the trails at Outdoor Discovery Center south of Holland. You can meet at Hope Church at 1 p.m. to carpool, or you can meet us at the Center at 1:30 p.m. The address is 4214 56th Street, Holland.
Hope member Nancy Rock used to walk these trails often, and we will spend a few moments remembering her before we head out to experience the delight she found in this beautiful place. Hopefully we will spot some spring wildflowers along the way!
The trails are mainly level, with graveled surfaces and boardwalks that are stroller and wagon friendly. The first half mile of trail is ADA accessible. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are prohibited, and pets must be kept on a 6’ leash at all times.
Outdoor Discovery Center works to educate people about the natural environment and the challenges it faces, and to promote conservation in the West Michigan area. You can learn more about their work at outdoordiscovery.org.
Here’s hoping for good weather and a good time enjoying God’s creation together!
