The forty-sixth Holland/Zeeland CROP walk will be held at Centennial Park on Sunday, May 18, 2025, between 1 and 3 p.m. We encourage you to participate in this annual effort to raise awareness of and alleviate hunger in our community and around the world. Church World Service has sponsored these walks nationally for 55 years, and the need is ever present.  Here’s how you can help:
  1. Register to walk. Go to the CropHungerWalk.org website and register either as an individual or as part of a team. Hope Church is partnering with Holland Zeeland Indivisible this year and invites you to join their team. Find out more about the group at their website or directly to their CROP team page.
  2. Contribute money. Use the “Make a Donation” button on the CROP Walk page above. You can support a friend who is walking or credit it to the HZ Indivisible team.
  3. Bring food. Trucks will be at the walk site to collect your non-perishable food donations for our local food pantries. If you can’t make it that day, you may place your items in the CROP donation box in the gathering area at Hope Church and we will see that they are delivered on May 18.
  4. Advocate. Use your voice and actions to promote programs and organizations that work to overcome hunger and poverty in our community and around the world.
  5. Pray. For safety for the walkers. For good growing seasons and healthy crops. For policy makers who determine how the world’s resources are distributed. For agencies that work with and for those who are poor and hungry. “…By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”  Philippians 4:6
Let’s share the joy of working together for this important cause!
