Creation Care’s Summer Book Read discussions are planned for June 16, July 21, and August 18. Don’t worry! Even if you haven’t yet read  Nature’s Best Hope by Douglas W. Tallamy, you can still come and start to learn how to create space for pollinators in your yard—and catch up on the reading later.

Harle Battjes from Holland Board of Public Works will be at the June 16 discussion as a resource person for your questions about plant choice and water issues. Discussion will center around chapters one through three.

The July meeting will focus on discussion of chapters four through seven; see more details here.

The August session will be a tour showing what Hope College has done with their space to promote a healthy network for pollinators; see more details here.

Whether you are just starting out or have some experience—successful or otherwise—in welcoming pollinators to your landscape, we hope you can join in the discussion.
