Caring for Creation presents Low Carbon Diet – A 30 Day Program to Lose 5000 Pounds (Meeting in Room 106)
The Low Carbon Diet (LCD) is one of the avenues through which you can answer the questions, “What should I do? What does God expect of me?” LCD is a nationally recognized curriculum which teaches how to identify, quantify, and reduce your individual household’s energy consumption. It was developed by David Gershon in 2006 as a response to the issue of climate change. The material has been used widely, and in many places it has been used to organize entire communities. You’re invited to join us as we examine changing our household habits; not as a begrudging demand, but as a pathway to joy.
