Hope Church has kicked off another program year of activities for adults, youth and children to help us learn, grow in faith, and engage well with our community. Among this wide range of offerings, we hope that everyone can find a way to participate.

The Children’s Ministry offers Nursery care, Bible Story time, and Children in Worship sessions during the education and worship hours on Sunday, plus seasonal children’s choir opportunities and Family Time Together at special events throughout the year.

Middle school youth (grades 6 – 8) are invited to explore questions of faith in G.I.F.T. Group twice a month on Sunday mornings and enjoy fun activities at Fish Club twice a month on Sunday evenings. Ask your friends to join you too!

High Hopes Youth Group for grades 9 – 12 meets twice a month on Sunday evenings for social, service, and learning opportunities that promote relationships among the youth and sponsors. They also meet on alternate Sunday mornings for High Hopes Unshowered—a time of Bible Study, fellowship and prayer. Friends are always welcome!

Worship happens on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary during the program year. Plans are underway for a second concurrent worship experience to meet in the Chapel from January through May of 2026. We are excited to see how this new worship format will take shape in the months to come.

In addition, there are many opportunities for adults to learn, fellowship together, and serve throughout the program year.

  • Adult Education at 9:40 a.m. Sundays offers presentations and discussion of timely and interesting topics led by a variety of people. Check the weekly announcements for more info.
  • Chancel Choir meets on Wednesday evenings for rehearsal and leads the congregation in musical worship on Sundays.
  • The pastors lead a Bible Study on the first and third Wednesdays to look at upcoming lectionary readings.
  • Hope Church Readers meet once a month to discuss a work of literature, and other periodic study groups meet to engage with interesting themes or writings.
  • Men’s Breakfast and Gentlemen of a Certain Age, Women’s Circles 1 and 4, R.E.S.T. group for caregivers, Pub Theology, Social Crafting, Creation Care, Diners Club, and other small groups offer many opportunities to share time and interests together and build each other up.

You are also invited to consider serving on one of the ministries or committees that help design and implement the various expressions of our life together and our ministry to the community.

As you can see, Hope Church is a busy place! Come and be a part of the action.
